“You can do it when you’re 30.
I don’t want to prolong my success.”
That’s what I told them.
Back when I was grinding two jobs,
Starting college later than most,
And enrolled in an IT bootcamp while my friends were out partying every weekend.
They told me to slow down.
To “live a little.”
That I had plenty of time.
But I wasn’t interested in later.
I was focused on freedom.
I’ve always known something deep in my bones:
Ambition doesn’t wait for permission.
And I wasn’t going to borrow time from my 30s
just to feel caught up in my 20s.
See, I’ve never been afraid of hard work.
What scared me more was regret.
Waking up one day knowing I could’ve built something earlier,
but I chose comfort instead.
So, I moved with urgency.
Not recklessly, intentionally.
Every night shift, every missed party, every semester I paid for in cash
was an act of alignment.
Of faith.
Of planting seeds no one else could see.
Now?
That foundation is the reason I move with so much clarity.
No shortcuts.
No shame.
Just discipline and deep peace.
To anyone reading this who’s putting in the work,
quietly, steadily,
while others question your pace:
You’re not behind.
You’re building.
And one day soon,
the same people who doubted your hustle
will be inspired by it.
Keep going.
Your future self is already proud.
